App lock

Locked the moment it opens.

Choose the apps you want to protect. When one opens, Tulphex Lock steps in: PIN, password or pattern, with fingerprint or face only as a shortcut.

  • Password managers and authenticators included
  • Relock right away, when the screen turns off, or after 30 seconds to 5 minutes
  • Forgot the code? Reset it with the recovery code on the device
Apps screen: WhatsApp, Bank and Mail protected, Gallery not protected; each app shows its notification mode.

Notification privacy

The message arrives. The text stays hidden.

Message text is hidden in the notifications of protected apps; show the sender, or only “New message”. Notification text is processed in memory for that decision only and is never stored or sent.

  • Choose the hiding mode for each app
  • Call, alarm and ongoing notifications are left untouched
Notification hiding screen: hiding turned on; scope options and a test text field.

Sharing your phone

Guest Mode in one tap.

Start Guest Mode before you hand your phone over; your private apps and notifications are hidden. Kids and Work profiles set the phone up for other situations.

  • Settings protection: guests cannot change permissions or uninstall apps
  • Recent activity: security events only, never content
Guest Mode screen: apps and notifications to hide, settings protection on, and a “Start Guest Mode” button.

Vault and backup

Your private files, encrypted.

Add photos and documents to the vault; they are encrypted on the device with AES-GCM. Save your settings to a backup file encrypted with your own password and move it to a new phone.

  • Intruder photo (optional): one front-camera frame after repeated wrong attempts
  • Delete all local data in one tap
Privacy screen: analytics off, file vault, encrypted backup, hide app icon, export data and delete all local data.

Questions about Lock

Does it replace my phone’s screen lock?

No. Lock protects the apps you choose while the phone is unlocked. Keep using your phone’s own screen lock.

What if I forget my code?

Reset it with the recovery code on the device, or with the backup lock method if you set one up. With no account there is no email reset, so keep the recovery code somewhere safe.

Are notifications hidden before they ever appear?

Android hands a notification to the system first; Lock hides it right away, but the first moment or a heads-up pop-up can still show. The Notification hiding page in Lock shows how to turn off pop-ups for protected apps.

Will there be ads?

No. Lock shows no ads and contains no ad SDK; this version has no internet permission either. There are never ads on the lock screen.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not for now; Lock is Android only.
