Tulphex Lock (com.tulphex.lock) locks apps on your phone, hides notification content and keeps files in an encrypted vault. Developer: Tulphex. It needs no account; the developer does not collect, upload or share any personal data.
1. What is not collected
No analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts, no ads, no tracking; nothing leaves the device. The app does not read your screen content and does not store or send your notification text, your location or your camera pictures.
2. Data processed on the device
| Data | Purpose | Where | How to turn it off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Package name of the app in front (Accessibility service) | Show the lock when an app you protect is opened. Only the package name is used; screen content is never read, stored or sent. | In memory only, at the moment of the decision. | System Settings → Accessibility → Tulphex Lock |
| Usage access (which app most recently came to the front) | Also lock apps that hide themselves from accessibility (password managers, authenticators). | In memory only. | System Settings → Usage access |
| Notification access | Hide notifications of the apps you protect in the mode you choose and mask one-time codes with Smart Mask. The notification title and text are processed in memory for that decision only; never stored, logged or sent. Call, ongoing, foreground-service and alarm notifications are left untouched. | In memory only. | System Settings → Notification access; Notification hiding in the app |
| Lock credentials (PIN / password / pattern, backup method, recovery code) | Unlocking. Stored as a PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 digest, never in plain text. | Encrypted with the Android Keystore, on the device. | Settings → Privacy → Delete all local data |
| Protection settings and profiles | Operating the app. | Encrypted, on the device. | Same |
| Activity history (locked / unlocked / failed attempt; app name and time, no content) | Privacy dashboard and recent activity. | Encrypted, on the device; 30 days. | Settings → Activity → turn off or delete |
| Intruder photo (optional) | One front-camera frame after repeated wrong attempts, so you can see who tried. | Encrypted, on the device; deleted with its event. | Turn the feature off; revoke the camera permission |
| Location and Wi‑Fi name (optional trusted place / Wi‑Fi) | Relax the lock at a place or on a network you trust. Read on the device only while the lock is being decided; a saved place's coordinates stay on the device. Background location is not requested. | Encrypted, on the device. | Remove the trusted condition; revoke the location permission |
| Bluetooth device name/address (optional trusted device) | Relax the lock while a device you trust is connected. | Encrypted, on the device. | Remove the trusted condition |
| File vault (photos and documents you add) | Keep your files encrypted. | AES‑GCM encrypted, in the app's private storage. | Delete or export from the vault |
| Encrypted backup file | Move your settings to another device. Encrypted with a password you choose, saved where you choose; never sent to us. | Where you save it. | Delete the file |
3. Ads
Tulphex Lock shows no ads and contains no ad SDK. This version does not request the internet permission either; the app cannot connect to the network. There are never ads on the lock screen or over a protected app.
4. Children
Tulphex Lock is not directed at children under 13. The Kids profile is for a parent's own device.
5. Deleting your data
Settings → Privacy → Delete all local data permanently removes credentials, settings, history, photos and the vault. Uninstalling the app also removes all of its data. The developer holds no copy.
